The process begins with your initial design consultation.
Ahead of our meeting, you'll receive an information pack and checklist designed to get you thinking about your new living space and help you identify all your specific project requirements.
At our meeting we'll review and discuss your checklist. We assess the property and address any structural considerations, establish the scope of works, discuss timelines and align it with your budget expectations.
This is a valuable investigative process and will provide clarity how you wish to proceed.
Post the initial consultation we will provide you with a Proposal Agreement which encompasses the the Design Stage. Done professionally, good design is rolled out in three stages - Survey, Development and Documentation.
Acceptance of the Proposal Agreement begins our design journey together.
Survey - We prepare a Design Brief after meeting to determine key criteria for the design. This covers styles, colours, materials, fittings, fixtures, appliances, lighting and ergonomics. Our approach is to listen to your requirements and then overlaying what we’ve learned with the principles and elements of good design.
Development - This is the fun part where we use our design skills to prepare a Concept Design to match the Design Brief. We use CAD to prepare the design so you can visualise the layout.
Documentation - When you are happy with the design we provide you with full documentation which includes Floor Plans, Elevations and 3D renders. A comprehensive spec of all cabinetry, materials, finishes, fixtures and appliances are detailed to allow for quotation and pricing purposes.
